A growing range of individually planned, personalised and very informal photographic tours - mainly based in a superbly comfortable location on the edge of Lindisfarne National Nature Reserve in north Northumberland. My aim is for guests to achieve new and memorable images in inspiring settings and at the same time have an enjoyable and relaxing experience with like-minded people.

NEW - FarneTasy Islands 2012

Sunday June 24th - Friday June 29th 2012

The Farne Islands off the Northumberland Coast are one of Britain's greatest wildlife and natural spectacles and the first time visitor can be overwhelmed by the experience. This tour includes two visits to the Farnes, a trip around nearby Coquet Island, an exploration of the spirit of the Holy Island of Lindisfarne as well as the wider Northumberland Coast - an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

NEW - Northern Icons

The Angel of the North, Hadrian's Wall, the Tyne Bridges, Bamburgh & Dunstanburgh Castles - visually stimulating images that define a region. This tour concentrates on creating imagery of these iconic landmarks and others - working sometimes at the extremes of day and light as well as the intimacy of the sometimes unseen 'inner' landscape detail.

NEW - Wet & Wild Waterfall Weekends

Short-breaks exploring a variety of large, small and sometimes hidden waterfalls found throughout the North-East of England. Photography will concentrate on defining the essence of each location, creating imagery that will be both a literal and impressionistic interpretation of place.

NEW - Coast & Castles

November 2012 - dates to be arranged

Northumberland has more castles than any other county in England and one of the most inspiring natural coastlines to be found anywhere. The tours concentrate on the wild, windswept landscapes created by both nature and the hand of man, particularly at the fringes of day and light.

NEW - 'Hide & Seek'

Where we'll use 'hides' for some of our photography and 'seek' other images from the field at various sites and locations throughout the region.

ONE 2 ONE

Individually tailored and personalised one to one, face to face sessions, workshop days and/or short tours, principally based in Northumberland and the North-East of England - but can be anywhere by arrangement - please contact to discuss. I'm also available for small groups, camera clubs etc.
